▫️This nice lil spread I prepped for my fiancé. Of course, he did the grilling 👍🏼
▫️This is a pretty typical dinner for us: a protein source, veggies, and a complex carbohydrate!
▫️I have a stir-fry veggie mix that I tossed in some extra-virgin olive oil and seasonings and baked. I also have chopped sweet potatoes tossed in cinnamon, spice, brown sugar and extra-virgin olive oil that I also baked at the same time.
▫️We also try to choose the leaner cuts and grass-fed versions of red meat when we eat it.
▫️Eating a healthy, balanced diet is not about excluding foods across the board. It’s about making simple swaps to improve the nutrient-quality of your meals while still enjoying the food. 👌🏼
