▫️Homemade, healthy apple crisp 🍎
▫️Recipe:
-2 1/2 cups peeled and thinly sliced honey crisp apples
-1 T sugar
-1 T lemon juice
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp nutmeg

Toss all ingredients to coat apples and pour into sprayed baking dish

Combine in food processor
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1/4 cup oats
-5 graham crackers
-2 T whole wheat flour
-2 T corn starch
Pinch of salt
-stir in 6T of melted butter or coconut oil

Spoon over apple mix and bake at 400F for 25-30 mins!

(I actually omitted the brown sugar and made a caramel glaze instead to go over the top – not pictured). This recipe is simple and easy to make changes to. Can be vegan if you use coconut oil vs butter! 😊
