▫️Glazed Cinnamon Coffee Cake 🍰
▫️For this cake, I swapped out all-purpose flour for whole-wheat flour to increase fiber and protein. I also swapped full fat sour cream for light to reduce the fat content and I used a Neufchâtel cheese instead of full-fat cream cheese to also reduce the fat. Fat from dairy is usually saturated fat, so I like to reduce the amount of this fat if I can!
▫️Like I mentioned in Friday’s post, eating healthy and having balance isn’t about eliminating and excluding. It’s about finding small ways to improve the nutrient profile of the foods you are eating 😊
