▫️Chocolate chickpea brownies ‼️
▫️Another reason to put my food processor to work! And another fiber and protein-rich dessert 👌🏼👌🏼
– 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
– 1/2 cup maple syrup
– 1/2 cup nut butter (I used PB 😋)
– 1 T melted coconut oil
– 1/4 cup almond flour (I used white whole-wheat flour instead)
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder
– 1/4 tsp baking soda
– 1/4 tsp baking powder
– 1/4 tsp salt
-Blend all in food processor until smooth: manually stir in chocolate chips.
-Line 8×8 pan with parchment paper and bake at 350 degrees F for 21-23 mins
▫️This recipe is plant-based, vegan (if using vegan choc chips), rich in fiber, protein, monounsaturated fats, vitamins & minerals including potassium, iron, magnesium, selenium, B-vitamins & more!
▫️P.S. I didn’t use any frosting, but feel free to add anything you like to these brownies!
